Using the Comment to Issue app, you can convert important comments on your issues into new subtasks and issues.

How can I convert a comment into a new Issue?

  • Navigate to an issue that has one or more comments.
  • Next, click on the Comment to Issue Issue Activity by clicking on the Comment to Issue button towards the bottom of your Issue. (Depending on your screen width, the button may be rendered as part of drop down menu): comment-to-issue-activity-arrow
  • Find the comment that you’d like to convert and then click the Create Subtask or Create Issue button.
  • Your new Subtask/Issue will have its description filled automatically filled in with the text and/or attachments from the source comment.
